Sakrete Rapid Post
SAKRETE RAPID POST is a pre-blended, rapid setting concrete material. It is designed specifically for fence posts and poles. Pour from bag to hole, add water and agitate with a rod or stick. SAKRETE RAPID POST sets in minutes so no bracing is required and the post can be used after 3 hours.

Allow newly placed material to set until the surface is hard to the touch. Then cover with plastic to prevent evaporation of mixing water. Post can be used after three (3) hours.
SAKRETE RAPID POST sets in minutes so no bracing is required, the post can be used after three (3) hours.
Position the post in hole. Fill with SAKRETE RAPID POST and water simultaneously, 2.8 L (3 qt) per 30 KG (66 lb) bag and agitate with rod or stick. Align the post using a level and check the vertical position. There is no need to brace. SAKRETE RAPID POST will stiffen almost immediately. Do not rework once the mix has set. In cold weather, use warm water to accelerate the set. In hot weather, use cold water to slow the set.
Dig hole with auger or shovel to required depth (hole should extend below the frost line). Allow 2 inches (5 cm) clearance on each side of post. A typical 4 in x 4 in (10 cm x 10 cm) post will require an 8 in (20 cm) diameter.

30 KG (66 lb) yields approximately 0.014 m³ (1/2 ft³).
Mix and substrate temperatures should be maintained between +5 °C and +30 °C (40 °F and 86 °F) for at least 24 hours prior to and 48 hours after. For temperatures below +5 °C (40 °F) refer to SAKRETE Fast Set.
